NICS - SW Filter
"SW" is one of a series of custom cut-off filters manufactured by Barr for the GOHSS instrument under construction at the INAF-OAR observatory. This filter is mainly intended for the quick detection of faint sources. Its transmission was measured directly inside NICS by taking a series of spectra of a halogen lamp without and with the filter inserted before the AMICI disperser. The resulting transmission curves, measured at a temperature of about 78 K, is available in the following ASCII file.
