NICS - HK Grism
The HK grism consists of a 150 lines/mm blaze=36.8 deg transmission grating glued on the hypotenuse of a 31 deg prism of IRGn6 glass and working in first order.
The grism is mounted inside the grism wheel of NICS in combination with a custom-designed filter with cut-on at 1.4 µm which acts as order sorter filter.
