NICS - JK' grism
The JK' grism consists of a 150 lines/mm blaze=26.7deg transmission grating glued on the hypotenuse of a 31 deg prism of IRGn6 glass and working in first order.
The grism is mounted inside the grism wheel of NICS in combination with a custom wedged filter with cut-on at 1.15 µm. This filter, which was manufactured by Barr and mounted inside NICS in May 2002, solved the problem of second order overlap with this grism.
