    FGG collaborates with Energía Bonita
In the framework of reducing the local carbon footprint and adopt strategies for a greener future, the Fundación Galileo Galilei ‐ INAF is proud to have started a new collaboration with the local non‐profit organization Energía Bonita.
Energía Bonita is the first energy community located in La Palma. It promotes, assesses and supports projects whose aim is to produce and share green energy coming from renewable natural sources.
With this collaboration the FGG will make available some computing resources to Energía Bonita. These facilities will be used to recollect, store and analyze the operational data coming from the Energía Bonita proprietary photovoltaic plants. These resources will also be used to formulate simulations and prediction on energy use and production.
"We believe in science not only as a tool for discovery, but also as a driver for change, especially when it comes to our environmental impact" , said the FGG director Adriano Ghedina. "We are happy to support Energía Bonita and join forces for a more sustainable future on La Palma."
